PATER (Territorial Employment Pact in La Ribera) is an autonomous organization with a local character created on 26 July 2004 within La Ribera Consortium. PATER has its own legal personality, as well as administrative and economic autonomy. PATER main aims are: Development of the Territorial Employment Pact in La Ribera and the design and promotion of actions with the purpose of job creation, socio-labour insertion and the economic development of La Ribera. Also, to take interest and participate in infrastructure policies and land management, as well as in agricultural, commercial and industrial policies.

PATER is coordinated by six entities under the guidance of SERVEF: Mancomunitat Ribera Alta, Mancomunitat Ribera Baixa, CCOO, UGT, FEDALCIS and Associació Empresarial d'Alzira

PATER presents the First Photo Contest on tourism and environment of Cullera

PATER, following the ideals of La Ribera tourist promotion, presents the rules of the photo contest on tourism and environment, that has been supported by the city council of Cullera.

PATER organizes an Informative Day on access to company assistance

PATER has organized an Informative Day on existing assistance to entrepreneurs, whether the company is in a setting up process or already established.
Throughout the session, it will be explained different ways to get assistance for equipment for companies created by young people, as well as assistance fostering freelance occupation, two financial sources currently available for entrepreneurs.
Attendance to this Informative Day is open to everybody, although the Territorial Pact has personally invited those entrepreneurs that requested CIER for help.

PATER requests two employment workshops and three PIEs

PATER has submitted to SERVEF two employment workshops and an Integral Employment Plan with views on promoting job creation in La Ribera. The employment workshops are: “Ribera de Xúquer II”, with the specialties on route guide and tourism development agent and “La Ribera Diversitat” with the aim of training social dynamizers. The chosen contents for the employment workshops are a source of work, since currently there is a lack of professionals aware of the tourist resources of La Ribera. Moreover, approval for an Integral Employment Plan (PIE) has also been requested, in order to improve labour insertion of three kinds of groups.

The employment workshop “Ribera de Xúquer”, which is being carried out within the actions of PATER, has created a News Blog and a Photo Gallery. Here, the pupils participating in this employment workshop describe the activities that are being carried out.

PATER elaborates a European project in order to increase the entrepreneurship support

The Territorial Employment Pact in La Ribera (PATER) has submitted to the European Commission the STEP Project (Sharing Territorial Entrepreneurship Practices), within the framework of the Interreg IV-C Programme, aimed at the exchange of best practices related to the entrepreneur support services within the existing Territorial Employment Pacts in different European countries. These best practices will be the basis for a new methodology in the improvement of the services targeted at entrepreneurs.

Along with PATER, which presents itself as lead partner, the project has been subscribed by other nine entities from seven European countries: Spain, Italy, Ireland,United Kingdom,Germany and Romania.All the partners are Territorial Employment Pacts with “the same concerns, worries and objectives as the company creation centre belonging to PATER”, according to what Rosa Sebastià, PATER chairwoman, pointed out. She also highlighted the importance of projects “of this magnitude, as it will allow us to improve our service for those people willing to set up their own company, in case it is approved”.

PATER helps in the company creation process.

The quality system with which the network of Local Development and Employment Agencies count, (AEDL), means a step forward towards obtaining the employment quality certificate.

The Molí de Monsalvá changes its appearance thanks to a training workshop run by PATER

Territorial Employment Pact in La Ribera (PATER) has trained 40 students/trainees through the school workshop “Molí de Monsalvá” in the specialization of gardening, bricklaying and renewable energies maintenance.The school workshop activities started in June 2005 and finished in June this year. The student´s profile was that of a young person under 25, unemployed and registered in La Ribera.

PATER gets approval for an employmet workshop

PATER has got approval for an employment workshop in the specialization of route guide and tourist assistant, in which will participate a total of 24 unempolyed people over 25 years. The employment workshop, approved by the SERVEF, will take place in the Economic Promotion Centre of Carcaixent, with a total number of 960 hours for each specialization.

PATER promotes preventive culture among schoolchildren

PATER Labour Risk Prevention Service has been developing during the last months several awareness raising actions on labour risk prevention, such as the arrangement of informative conferences on prevention aimed at entrepreneurs, the elaboration of informative leaflets and the promotion of preventive culture since the school years.
